Slashed Clay Pots
These Slashed type of pots have at least four vertical slots up the sides which allow more positive air circulation and water drainage, yet the narrow width of the slots are such that the potting media cannot fall out.

Solid Clay Pots
As with Plastic ones, these pots come in several types. The first option is height proportion:
The two sizes are called 'Azalea' and 'Standard'.
The ' Azalea' Style is the shorter and shallower of the two.
The other two variations are called 'Solid' versus 'Slashed' .
Pots come in many sizes ...up to 16 in. diameter!
