KK Special Orchid Mix
Includes Coco Husk chips, Diatomite, Sponge-rock, and Charcoal. We suggest adding ¼ teaspoon per gallon of water either KLN rooting compound or Superthrive when pre-soaking the mix. This medium is great for Paphiopedilums, Phalaenopsis and many other popular orchids.
Aircone Pots
Rand Aircone Pots are translucent plastic pots with raised 'cones' and extra slots on the inside for increased air exhange. A terrific fertilizer developed at Michigan State University specifically for orchids. The MSU fertilizers are formulated primarily with Nitrogen in Nitrate form for efficient plant utilization. (Ammoniacal Nitrogen is very difficult for orchids to assimilate). This fertilizer contains all the micronutrients and trace elements that orchids need.
This version is formulated especially for those using well water or municipal water.
