Diatomite

Mix this porous rock with bark, coconut chips, perlite, or charcoal to create unique mixes for specific needs.

Small Size ranges from: 1/16 to 1/4"
Medium Size ranges from: 1/4 to 5/8"

Diatomite is a very lightweight, porous, long lasting, natural rock mined in Australia; it is sterilized and  non-toxic.
It contains a small portion of soluble silica - essential for healthy plants and roots.
Does not break down and is safe for orchids.

Helpful Tip: Soak in water for about an hour and /or add ¼ teaspoon of Superthrive or DynaGrow KLN prior to use.
