We were so satisfied with our custom made Cedar Wood Baskets that we asked for these wood slat mounts. These are hand crafted just for us in the state of Maine. They are very similar to the popular Wood Slat Mounts but made using water resistant Cedar wood.
They are excellent for mounting many types of orchids, but we especially like to use them for small vandaceous orchids or mini-cattleyas. These smaller orchids with large fleshy roots benefit from the increased airflow of the wood slats over other solid mounting surfaces.
Small Cedar Wood Slat Mount is 3” x 8”
Large Cedar Wood Slat Mount is 4 3/4" x 8”
Each is hand crafted of the finest materials and carefully assembled with rounded edges. They have a hook for hanging vertically, and loops on all four corners to allow for hanging them horizontally with a Four Wire Hanger if desired.
