Aussie Gold™ is the original Diatomite-based orchid mix formulated by Ivan Harrison.
Ingredients: Diatomite - a naturally porous rock from Australia, Coir Fiber, Charcoal & Perlite. Also contains a wetting agent.
Lady Slipper orchids now have their own (slightly modified) mixture, especially for paphiopedilums and phragmipediums, to help accommodate those orchids found growing in or near riverbeds.
